Covid Visitors Guidelines

Visitors will be allowed into the facility provided there have been no positive COVID-19 tests for residents or staff for 14 days prior to the visit. Should a resident or staff test return positive, visitors will not be permitted for 14 days.

Visits will be appointment only and between 10:00 AM and 4:00 PM

A limit of 2 people are allowed per visit. No visitors under the age of 18 will be permitted.

As per NYS DOH, no more than 10% of residents may receive visitors on any given day. To maximize social distancing, only 3 residents may receive visitors at a time (maximum of 6 visitors).

Each visitor must present a verified COVID Negative test result within the 7 days prior to visiting.

Visitors must also present a government-issued ID and provide their; physical street address, daytime & evening phone number, and email address. The facility will record this information and will have it available upon request from the DOH.

Each visitor will be screened at the door. No visitors that present a temperature of greater than 99.0F will be allowed into the facility.

Visitors must wear masks properly for the duration of their visit.

Visits will be limited to 15 minutes.

All visits will be on the outdoor patio. The visitor will be brought outside to the patio and the resident will then be brought down from their unit. Visits may have to be curtailed or postponed in the event of inclement weather.

Residents and their visitors must exercise social distancing and stay 6’ apart from one another at all times.

There is to be no physical contact between residents and visitors at anytime

Eating, drinking, or smoking will not be permitted for the duration of the visit.

Failure to comply with these guidelines may result in forfeiting the right to visit the facility or have visitors.
